Saturday was such a memorable day for all of us who gathered for the 1 minute’s silence and release of balloons at 7.30pm, the time the fire started. So many lovely people there, Ruth McQuillan-Wilson a brave lady who is still searching for answers; John and Pauline who travelled from Warrington to remember their friends Alan Barker and Sean Kelly; little Luke Corkish aged 10 who wanted to give me his painstakingly researched school project; The Turry’s who played such haunting music. So many people with stories to tell, some tears, some laughter. Thank you to all those who came to pay their respects and stand in silent remembrance of the 50 who lost their lives. We will never forget them.
